Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system typically taught as a group class that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion.
Unlike other common methods of flexibility training such as yoga and passively stretching muscles, Kinstretch focuses on gaining control of your passive flexibility by using our muscles rather than gravity to attain improved mobility.
This mobility work is meant to expand your usable range of motion which we lose both with age and our lifestyle. These classes will put a focus on joint health & longevity, body control, and injury prevention.
One thing I want to say for those who have not experienced a kinstretch class before is that this is NOT a stretching class. This is a very active class and although the word “stretch” is in the name, it will be closer to a workout then a recovery.
